Xiaomi has officially begun the global rollout of HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16. The company announced the update on the social platform X, confirming that the Xiaomi 15T series would be the first to receive it. Between November and December, additional Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices will follow.
According to the release schedule, the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra will receive the update in November, alongside the Redmi Note 14, POCO F7, and POCO X7. The POCO F6 is set to be updated in December. The rollout begins in Europe, with other regions expected to receive the update shortly afterward.
Users can manually check for the update by navigating to Settings → About Phone → System Update. Reports from Gizmochina also indicate that this version includes the latest monthly security patch, enhancing overall system safety.
The HyperOS 3 update introduces a range of improvements aimed at boosting performance, efficiency, and user experience. Key features include the new Hyper Island quick menu for easier access to multimedia content, improved device synchronization between Xiaomi smartphones, tablets, and wearables, and faster app startup times.
HyperOS 3 brings a lot of personalization options for the lock screen.
In addition, Xiaomi has expanded the integration of generative AI tools within the system. These new features assist users in content organization, photo editing, and note summarization, reflecting the company’s growing focus on artificial intelligence to simplify daily tasks.
