TCL-Backed RayNeo Launches Air 4 Pro AR Glasses Globally At CES 2026

After first revealing the Air 4 Pro AR glasses in China last year, RayNeo used CES 2026 to bring them to a worldwide audience. At the event, the TCL-backed company also unveiled an eSIM-capable RayNeo X3 Pro, underscoring its wider foray into tethered and standalone augmented reality devices.

The first AR glasses in the world to support HDR10 are the RayNeo Air 4 Pro—the glasses come with 0.6-inch Micro-OLED screens that have a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and 3,840 Hz PWM hybrid dimming. This setup is intended to enhance contrast, image clarity, and viewing comfort in a variety of lighting scenarios, according to RayNeo.

Visually speaking, the Air 4 Pro can project a virtual screen up to 201 inches (5.11 meters) when viewed from about six meters away. Ten brightness settings are available to users, and the screens have a 200,000:1 contrast ratio. A specialized Pixelworks Vision 4000 processor powers the glasses, enabling functions like 2D-to-3D content conversion and SDR-to-HDR upscaling.

The Bang & Olufsen-tuned four-speaker system handles the audio. With its lightweight frame and adjustable nose pads for prolonged use, the 76-gram Air 4 Pro is made with comfort in mind. It is compatible with smartphones, tablets, and other devices that allow video output over USB-C and connects via USB-C.

In addition to the Air 4 Pro, RayNeo unveiled the RayNeo X3 Pro Project eSIM eyewear. This version uses 4G cellular connectivity to function without a wired connection thanks to built-in eSIM support. Unlike tethered models, this makes the X3 Pro a more autonomous AR solution.

The company says the RayNeo Air 4 Pro will go on sale on January 25 and retail for $299.
